WNBR Canterbury – bad news

The ride itself was very good, it’s what happened at the end that’s bad.

For those out of the loop:

Suzanne was knocked off her bike towards the end of the ride. She suffered a broken ankle. Currently she is in William Harvey Hospital in Ashford. Her ankle will need surgery to fix, it is a multiple break and dislocation.

We are expecting surgery to take place Thursday. I’ll post here, Twitter and Facebook as and when I have definite news.

Our thanks for all the good wishes, it’s nice to be among friends when times are bad.

The first of the 2013 clothes optional evenings is next weekend, 1 June from 6PM. These are delightful evenings, you can walk naked around the gardens and in the butterfly house. The cafe will be open for food and drink and there is a shop selling all sorts of interesting items.

Some very good points were raised by Jerry, here is his contribution to the discussion:

Hi Dave,

“I have no plans to _reinstate subscriptions_, the preferred
method of keeping up with activities is to subscribe to our
Facebook page and Twitter feed.”

Dave, it might be an idea to make the above clear that it applies to
website comment accounts and not NL magazines nor SLC membership
subscriptions!
